Photo Booth uses your MacBook's built in isight camera for taking snapshots or video clips. Effects and backgrounds can also be chosen for added interest. As an educator you will find many uses for this amazing tool. It actually allows you to use your MacBook as a digital and video camera. Let your imagination go wild with this! Your students will.   • Open Photo Booth and take a picture by clicking on the camera button

  • You have three options in Photo Booth - still picture, series of 4 pictures or video - try each of these options.
  • Please take a picture of yourself, an object and a document.
  • Notice that the document is reversed (Go to Edit>Flip Document)

  • Select all pictures from the bottom of the screen to send to iPhoto, email or delete.
  • Change your preferences in iPhoto from "Mail" to "Entourage"
  • There are18 effects to choose from - "mirroring" is an excellent effect to teach symmetry

iMovie also has a built in video camera. You can begin by creating your video clip right there!
